I’m Elle, a researcher, writer, human from Michigan, USA. You can learn more about me and follow some links on my website.

This newsletter exists as a place to share my writing: that will most often be essays about anything and updates about the 11-acre land in Northern Michigan that I bought in October, 2022.

This land — what I’m calling Another Place — is deeply meaningful to me and I have metered visions for a hefty amount of projects over the next several years. Read about its origin here and here. I’m a steward of this land and hope to facilitate in its natural cycles, as well as build a home of my own, host an art residency, and host building workshops for people with a priority for people from LGBTQ+ communities and people from socially marginalized groups.
