Beautiful post! Your writing is stirring to the point of haunting.

Trying not to spiral too deeply in to "When something changes, something changes"... meant as in a c'est la vie way? In that when changes happen, many things change in reaction? When change happens, it changes you?

How lovely that you can have such a local experience when traveling. You put so beautifully to words this feeling I have about the US.

Love a travel journal guest star and hearing about sascha finding your dad’s music; feeling sad/mad about the prepackaged oatmeal I’m about to eat after your reminder of how much better food is over there
